Week 4 Part 1

In my opinion, the pics on top on the website should be below the heading so they can be better appreciated. The placement they have right now makes the heading of the website looks too crowded. Also, almost at the middle of the website where is another ad of the business, I think it looks kind of empty or maybe the add is too small. Changing the design can improve their site.

The website needs an upgrade on everything; first the colors are too bright, second choosing how to open the site? When I first went to the site I thought that nothing was there, then when I realize I had to choose how to go to the site, it was the first time I see this. After opening the site, I realize I got lost reading their content and there is not design at all. Changing the design, aesthetics, and branding can improve their website dramatically and this can help promote their brand better.

This website design is very simple yet is communicating their message straight to the point. The links have easy access to their pages. All the pages have their logo and the pages design are clean. The footer has social media links. Their target are adults, children, and schools among others. This business used aesthetics, design, and branding to their advantage, they did a great job building their site!

I think this website design is very simple and easy to follow. It seems to be a local business so is advertising the services they locally offer and I think is one of the reasons their site is small. Their links can be easily access, their brand logo is on every page. I think they give a good use of the C.R.A.P.H.T.E.D.!

  1. I agree that the pennyjuice site appeared shady to me. I didn't like the fact that I had to select a way into the site. I liked the riversidearts site, although I didn't like the colors they chose. The hairstyling site used all the aspects of the design.

  2. Maria, I also recognized that PennyJuice was a little juvenile and needed some major Aesthetics changes. Although they were marketing to children adults are the users of the website. Good observation.
