Week 5 Post 1

I choose the first set and if I’m not mistaken they have the

same target market. The difference I found is that Econobum

Cloth Diapers used demographic and psychographics. It’s

like “Code Green” on diapers, they are appealing to

customers who cares of nature. This website does not have

Call to Action words. Just cheap Diapers was more about

demographics. They are more about customers income.

Their website has Call to Action Words “Click here for

monthly special offer”. I don’t think there is a crossover

between the two types of customers. These two websites

are simple and easy to navigate

Week 4 Part 2

Everyone knows Amazon! I think this website is amazing because most products can be found here. Their website home page is fill with items and services offer on the site. Aesthetics, design, and branding can be appreciated on the site. the navigation and search is easy to use. I do like this website because most products can be found here, also Amazon has a good return policy. The description of products is well written. I do come back here because the big selection of products. For example, I make my own body butter, face lotion, and hair treatments. The ingredients I need such as Kokum butter, Mango butter, Shea butter, etc. are sell there.

I do like this store and I use their website to buy their cloths. The home page is simple and easy to navigate. Aesthetics, design, and branding were use adequately if one like clothing. I keep coming back to this website because is easy to buy their items, they have good sales and promotions, and their warranty is far. I haven’t had any problems with this site since I started using over 4 years ago.

I reply to Terrell, Marie, and Savannah.

Week 4 Part 1

In my opinion, the pics on top on the website should be below the heading so they can be better appreciated. The placement they have right now makes the heading of the website looks too crowded. Also, almost at the middle of the website where is another ad of the business, I think it looks kind of empty or maybe the add is too small. Changing the design can improve their site.

The website needs an upgrade on everything; first the colors are too bright, second choosing how to open the site? When I first went to the site I thought that nothing was there, then when I realize I had to choose how to go to the site, it was the first time I see this. After opening the site, I realize I got lost reading their content and there is not design at all. Changing the design, aesthetics, and branding can improve their website dramatically and this can help promote their brand better.

This website design is very simple yet is communicating their message straight to the point. The links have easy access to their pages. All the pages have their logo and the pages design are clean. The footer has social media links. Their target are adults, children, and schools among others. This business used aesthetics, design, and branding to their advantage, they did a great job building their site!

I think this website design is very simple and easy to follow. It seems to be a local business so is advertising the services they locally offer and I think is one of the reasons their site is small. Their links can be easily access, their brand logo is on every page. I think they give a good use of the C.R.A.P.H.T.E.D.!

Week 3 Part 3

I replied to Savannah B., Loggins P., and Terrell J. Bloggers.

Week 3 Part 2

  1. ·       Funner California or better known as Harrah’s Rincon.

We use Facebook platform (I work here), check Funner Facebook page:

The last customer post was yesterday. If you go to the page it will tell you if you would like to start a conversation. I think the social media is pretty active.

     2. Volaris Airliine

They use Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Linkedin
I check-out Facebook and it seems the company social media is active. I posted a negative comment and I got a reply in less than 30 seconds, but the last follower comment was a month old.

     3. Miracost College

The website connects to Tweeter, Facebook, Instagram, In and Youtube. The last follower comment was about 2 weeks ago but the college post very often. Their last post was an hour ago.

    4. Walmart
They have Tweeter, Pinterest, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. Their social media looks busy if they just have someone to reply the customers enquires. I saw three customers asking questions just few min ago but there was no answer. I can understand how frustrating can be when one is waiting for assistance but there isn’t any. After seeing this I realized how important is to check often the company social media because this seems very careless from their part. Volaris replied me back right away. Wake up Walmart Facebook

     5. Target Store

They have Facebook, Instagram, Tweeter, You Tube, Google+, Pinterest, but the icons are not visible. Their Facebook was the same as Walmart, comments from customers not being answer. But Target post seems active, their last post was 2 hours ago.

Week 2B

I commented on Savannah B., Ferrell J., and Loggins P. Bloggers.

Week 1B

I commented on Loggins P., Nicolas D., and Joshua P. bloggers.

Week 3 Part 1:

Who haven’t suffered the long agony of waiting when one’s phone call gets put on hold for long time when trying to contact customer rep? I bet one penny everyone or at least me have encounter more than once difficulty trying to talk to a customer representative. But thanks to social media business are more likely to solve customer issues because they don’t want to have bad comments/reviews on social media.

Last week I need to talk to an airline from which I just bought 2 airplane tickets; to make the story short, after 30 minutes I got tired of waiting and I hung up. After posting this I’m going to post comment of my experience on their “follow us links”. I’m guessing this company doesn’t know that resolving a complain can avoid getting bad social media reviews.

Social media is a powerful “word-of-mouth” recommendation and responding to positive and negative comments can help to build strong customer relationship which can help a business to grow.

Week 2

Best Platforms

Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter platforms seems to be the favorite for personal use, myself use them except for Twitter. Facebook have more writing interaction between users, the other ones are more pics or short blogs. The most popular for personal or business of all platforms is Facebook of course it depends to whom the user is trying to contact.
The most popular or the one platform that seems to help smalls business who sell products is Facebook. This platform is a great tool to sell products, share information, do live videos, and advertised businesses among other tools that can help small businesses to make more profit.
I use Face book for personal use only but I want to use it to promote my small businesses which I’m still trying to put together. Each platform can be helpful everything depends what groups of customers one is trying to reach.
The following statics show that Facebook is the most use platform:

Pew Research Facebook is used by:
  • 71% of adult Internet users
  • 58% of entire adult population
  • 56% of Internet users age 65+
Pew Research found that Twitter is used by:
  • 23% of adult Internet users
  • Men and women under 50 with a college education
  • Households with incomes of <$50,000
Pew Research found that Instagram is used by:

  • 26% of adult Internet users
  • 53% of young adults age 18-29
  • Women in suburban/urban areas
Which one is the best? I guess that will depend on what the user is trying to reach or to communicate.
